Start with the groom.
Bring the photos you saved. We settle how the groom wants to look first, then dress the party around him.

Three ways to dress him.
- Rent
Rent, and make it yours.
Rent the tuxedo, buy a crisp new shirt and a silk bow tie. In the photos it looks like your own.
Rental tuxedos
- Own
Own the tux.
Buy it and we alter it to you, in about 2 weeks. Yours for every event after, and a memory of the day.
The Shop
- Made to measure
Made to measure.
For a hard fit, or every detail your way. Measured inch by inch, and nobody else has the same suit.
Made to Measure

The groom, a step above his party.
One or two of these is enough:
- An ivory dinner jacket
- A peak lapel or a double-breasted jacket for him, notch lapels for the party
- A midnight blue tux against a black party
- A vest, or a vest with suspenders: he still looks finished when the jacket comes off
- A silk bow tie with a fuller cut, and his own crisp new shirt
- An ivory bow tie with a black tux, if he wants it

Match the bride, not the bridesmaids.
She is the bride in white, so he stays classic. An ivory jacket for the groom works well too.
Keep the bow ties black. We match the party's pocket squares to the bridesmaids' dresses, so the colour shows in every photo.
This year's favourite is green, sage most of all. It looks beautiful as a pocket square on a black tux.

Wedding parties: one offer for the whole party, based on its size and the looks you choose.

About 3 months before. Not much earlier.
Come in too early and sizes change by the wedding. About 3 months ahead is right, 2 months is fine, and at least a month.
At the last minute, we can switch a piece or alter it on the spot: we own our stock. Special orders ship from the maker, so we measure for those first.

Eight looks for this year.
From the garden to the beach to a winter ballroom.
Wedding questions.
Tux or suit for the groom?
We lean to the tux. It's one of the biggest nights of your life, and a tux is the look for it. A suit you can wear anywhere, anytime.
Summer, garden or beach?
A garden wedding that goes into the evening: the tux is still number one. Over before sunset: a suit in navy, grey or light tan. On a beach or an island we recommend a lightweight suit: the groom in ivory, the party in tan.
Velvet for a winter wedding?
Yes. We carry it in black, burgundy, blue and navy. Great for the holidays; too heavy for summer.
Should the groom wear a colour to match the bridesmaids?
No. The groom matches the bride. The party's pocket squares are matched to the bridesmaids, and the bow ties stay black.
How do I make a rental look like my own?
Buy the shirt instead of renting it: it's crisper and shows in every photo. Add a silk bow tie with a fuller cut.
Will a rental fit like my own?
Yes. We alter the sleeves and the trousers, and we can take the jacket in at the sides. We check it all on you at the final fitting.
How far ahead should we come in?
About 3 months before the wedding is right, 2 months is fine, and at least a month. Much earlier and sizes change by the wedding.
Do I need an appointment for a wedding?
Yes. Book an appointment so a consultant can sit with you and go over every detail of the wedding.
Who should come to the appointment?
The groom and the bride. Most of the time she leads, and the two of you make the decisions. Bring the photos you saved.
What if a groomsman misses his fitting?
We own our stock, so we can switch a piece or alter it at the last minute. Special orders take shipping time, so we measure for those first.
Can groomsmen from out of town send measurements?
Yes. We do a virtual fitting on a video call, or he sends us sizes he trusts. The final fitting is here, at pickup.
What is included in a rental Look?
The full package: jacket, pants, shirt, bow tie or black tie, cufflinks and studs, and a cummerbund or suspenders. Shoes and a pocket square can be added.
When is payment due?
In full at pickup.
Is there a price for the whole party?
Yes. We make one offer for the party, based on its size and the looks you choose.
Can the groom wear an ivory bow tie?
Yes, it's very common. We usually keep the party's bow ties black and put the colour on the pocket squares.
