Groomsmen out of town: measurements
How groomsmen who live far away are measured and fitted, without an extra trip.
Many parties have a brother in another state or a best friend abroad. They do not need to fly in early to be measured.
Two ways to be measured from home
- A virtual fitting: we do it together on a video call and guide him through every measurement.
- Or send us his sizes: measurements he trusts, from a tailor near him or from a suit that fits him well.
What we need
- His height and weight, and his usual jacket size.
- The measurements: chest, waist, sleeve, inseam and neck.
- Shoe size, if he is adding shoes.
The final fitting
He comes in with the party 2 to 3 days before the wedding. Every piece is checked and adjusted on the spot: sleeves, trousers, and the jacket taken in at the sides if it needs it. Then he takes it home.
Send his measurements early. A size we have to order needs time.
