When to get fitted for a wedding
The timeline from the first appointment to the day: what to do and when.
A good wedding fitting is a short plan, started at the right time. Couples rarely come too late. The careful ones come too early, and that's no good for fitting either: sizes change by the wedding.
About 3 months before
- Book your wedding appointment. A consultant sits with you and goes over every detail: the look, the colours, the party.
- Bring the bride and the photos you saved. We start with the groom.
- 2 months is fine. At least a month.
In the weeks after
- Everyone is measured: in our shop, on a video call, or with measurements from a tailor near them.
- About 30 minutes each in our shop.
2 to 3 days before the wedding
- The whole party comes in for the final fitting. Every piece is checked and adjusted on the spot.
- On a rental we alter the sleeves and the trousers, and we can take the jacket in at the sides.
- Everyone takes their look home. Payment is in full at pickup.
2 days after
- Bring everything back.
Just one rental, not a wedding?
About a month ahead is good, so your size is reserved. Last minute can still work, depending on what is available.

Too early, you'll change by the wedding. Too late, we're rushing. Three months is right.

- Payment is in full at pickup. Bring everything back 2 days after the wedding.
